Gian's Tsucnent's Dream Red Coin Star successful attempt

Today is an important day for Gian : he managed to get all the red coins in the famous Tsucnent's Dream level in Super Mario : Treasure World which is very likely one of the hardest stars in Super Mario 64 RomHacks! He is now the second person to ever finish this romhack at 100%. 

That was the last Star Gian needed to finish this game. Now, he'll have to beat the final Boss in order to finally complete the game.

FramePerfection & SUKMR128SEERD

Super Ultra Kaizo Memeio Road 128 Stars Extreme Edition Revenge Deluxe, also known as SUKMR128SEERD is a meme hack made by Kaze Emanuar in 2016 (yea, the one who made Super Mario 64 : Last Impact).

Recently, Frameperfection started to route this game, and even began to make speedruns.

My first speedrun in years

Well, I didn't speedrun that much in my Life (as you can see on my speedrun.com profile). But today, I was like "Eh, let's try that TB's hack". 

Yea, you know, the little new Tomatobird8's hack. If you didn't hear about it, I advise you to read this article I made.

So here it is, my 100% run of Tomatobird8's Single Star hack. My final time is 4:53.3

Tomatobird8's Single Star Speedruns

Hello guys, today I make this article in order to present you something : a romhack. Why do I present this one and not others? That's true, there are several hacks which got released before. Well, lemme explain.

What is this hack?

This Super Mario 64 romhack is a simply-made hack. It contains only one level with 8 stars in it (the 7 regular ones and an "extra star". This is not an hard hack, as it is meant to be enjoyable by anybody. 

Who made it?

This hack was made by Tomatobird8. He is a chill guy and has some skills... well, at least that's what speedrun.com says (profile).

Why did he make it? What were his intentions?

For this, I directly ask him some questions. Here are the answers : 

What are my personal thoughts about this hack?

I really enjoy it. I am not a person who likes to speedrun games or anything. For me, in general, Super Mario 64 hacks are huge with many stars, and I dislike learning routes and strategies : it bores me. But this one is particular : it is a little hack with only one level, which is small with diversified biomes and gameplays (grass, sand and water). The timer is directly included with the hack, so there is nothing more to do : just open your emulator and give your best. 

The level is small, the level design is simple but you can keep playing hours just to get the best time for a star. This is addictive. For these reasons I enjoy it. However, as it is a small hack, it has a small life. But it's sufficient to keep you playing for several hours anyway.
